About ISAA SocietyISAA stands for International Society for Agrochemical Adjuvants. ISAA is dedicated to innovative research on agrochemical adjuvants. The society is under development to provide a backbone for the successful ISAA Symposia. ISAA symposia are organised every three years. The first symposium was held in 1986 in Brandon, Canada (see history). ObjectivesISAA has a handful objectives that are briefly summarised below.
OrganisationISAA Society has both individual members and an Advisory Group. This Advisory Group is constituted by representatives of the agrochemical industry and various institutions. The board of the Society is constituted as follows.

Priscila Castelani vice-presidentISAA Society welcomes Priscila Castelani as vice-president of the Society. Priscila Castelani (Oxiteno) succeeds Peter Baur, who was elected to the position of president during the ISAA 2010 symposium. Consequently Priscila Castelani will be president of ISAA 2013 - the 10th International Symposium on Adjuvants for Agrochemicals to be held in Brazil. Peter Baur (Bayer CropScience) was for three years vice-president of the Society and chaired ISAA 2010.
ISAA Society board reinforcedLast year the ISAA Society board has been reinforced by a scientific officer (David Stock) and by a representative of the academics (Richard Zollinger) and a representative of the industry as well (Karin Bergström). |
