ISAA 2010 in Germany
As already announced in Columbus, the venue for the 9th International Symposium on Adjuvants for Agrochemicals (ISAA 2010) will be at the campus of the Technical University of Munich in Freising/Munich, Bavaria, Germany, during August 16-20, 2010.
This symposium on Adjuvants for Agrochemicals is the ninth in a series of international symposia that began in 1986 in Brandon, Manitoba (Canada). Since then, Symposia have been held in Blacksburg, Virginia (USA), Cambridge (UK), Melbourne (Australia), Memphis, Tennessee (USA), Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Cape Town (South Africa) and most recently in Columbus, Ohio (USA).
ISAA 2010 is intended to provide the most recent knowledge on adjuvant research, development and application. We also offer a trade exhibition and excellent facilities for business meetings.
Freising/Munich is located in southern Germany, in Central Europe. An adequate place as in Central Europe the headquarters of major Agrochemical Companies (BASF, Bayer, Syngenta,) and the headquarters of several big surfactant, adjuvant and formulant suppliers and application technology manufacturers can be found. The location is close to the airport and generally there are short distances between sites of interest.
Freising has a population of about 50.000 and is located in the southern part of Hallertau, the worlds largest area for hop plants. Freising owns the oldest brewery of the world, Weihenstephan, and brewery science is a competence at one of the universities. The campus hosts two universities with agricultural, environmental and bioscience activities, the Technical University of Munich and the Fachhochschule München.
The Symposium Committee ISAA 2010 will compose an interesting program taking the scientific level of Columbus as a benchmark.
