ISAA Society

ISAA stands for International Society for Agrochemical Adjuvants. This society is under development to provide a backbone for the successful ISAA Symposia. These symposia are organised once in the three years and the next one, ISAA 2007, is in 2007 in Columbus, Ohio (USA).

Previous symposia were held in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada (1986), Blacksburg, Virginia, USA (1989), Cambridge, UK, (1992), Melbourne, Australia (1995), Memphis, Tennesee, USA (1998), Amsterdam, The Netherlands (2001) and Cape Town, South Africa (2004).

Objectives ISAA Society

The objectives in brief of the ISAA Society are:

  • Supporting the ISAA symposium committee's with the organisation of the ISAA symposia, including technical sessions and a Trade Exhibition.
  • Providing a non-commercial platform for exchange of information and ideas regarding the development, testing and application of adjuvants for agrochemicals and related topics.
  • Maintaining and development of standards for technical issues.
  • Publishing ISAA Symposium proceedings and other publications on adjuvants for agrochemicals.
  • Stimulating innovative research on adjuvants for agrochemicals.

Organisation and membership

The ISAA Society will have individual members and an Advisory Group with representatives of the agrochemical industry and various institutions. Current candidate members of the executive committee are:

The ISAA Society's secretariat is currently located in Wageningen, The Netherlands. The Society has been registered with the Chamber of Commerce in the Netherlands under no. NL 09153768.
